Military/Veteran Support Services in Joint Base Andrews, MD

Many individual Fisher Houses have associated 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations to help support the house, it's special programs and initiatives to further assist our service members and their families. These organizations are location specific and separate from the Fisher House Foundation.

The JB Andrews Fisher House, Inc. is the nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that provides support specifically to the Fisher House at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

The organization was founded in 1993 prior to the groundbreaking of the Fisher House. It's purpose was to raise funds to sustain the house and it's programs once it was opened.

The Fisher House at Joint Base Andrews opened its doors on August 8, 1994. The formal dedication for the house was held September 26, 1994, which was Zach Fisher's 84th birthday.
